Pradhanmantri Bhartiya Jan Aaushadhi Yojna is a scheme for providing generic medicines to the people in low cost with respect to pharmaceutical medicines. It is especially for the lower and economically weaker sections of the society. For this, pradhanmantri bhartiya Jan aaushdi Kendras are set up by the Government of India.

This scheme was announced by our Honorable Prime Minister of India Mr. Narendra Modi on July 1, 2015. BPPI (Bureau of Pharma of PSUs of India) is the agency that is responsible for the implementation of this scheme. This scheme was started with the aim of telling people that generic medicines are available at lower rate and are equally or more effective than branded medicines. The aaushadhis available at these Kendra’s are available at the cost of 60-70% less than market price.

The main aim of this project is to bring down the healthcare budget of every citizen of India through providing quality generic medicines at affordable prices. Right now 65,000 stores are working. Their aim is to open stores across all districts in India by 2021. Any citizen of India can apply for this Jan Aaushadhi Kendra. And more than 600 medicines will be provided by the government at store. This scheme has saved 70-90% of patients through their medicines. We have to follow some procedures for applying. Before that you have to submit some documents.

Required Documents for Jan Aaushadhi Kendra 2021

  1. Pan Card
  2. Aadhar Card
  3. If you are applying for a hospital or a NGO then you will need a registration certificate form respective institution.
  4. The main thing which is very important that you must have a place of 10 sq. ft. of your own or rent.
  5. There should be a dug license.

Registration process for applying form for Jan Aushadhi Kendra 2021.

  1. Before filling the form you have to register yourself on the website.
  2. When you open the website you will get a page. Do sign-up that.
  3. Enter all your details and confirm your account via email.
  4. Note down the user id, password and email id.

Commission or Incentive Details

  1. The person who is running the store will get 20% margin on the MRP.
  2. Reimbursement will be given for furniture.
  3. Medicines up to Rs 1 lakh will be provided.
  4. Rs 0.49 lakh imbursement will be provided for printer, computer.

1. Visit the official website of Bharatiya Jan Aaushadhi.

2. Click on registration. Then a page will open.

3. After that you will see 3 options. you have to consider according to your agency.

4. Then click on "Apply Online".

5. On the next page enter your informations and login.

6. Upload your entire required document on the next page.
