Pundit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) is announcing the Ministry of Rural Development on 25 September 2014 that was started by the Indian government. this Yojana is a part of the National Rural Livelihood Mission. Its objective is to support the career plans of rural youths while also providing income diversity for rural poor families. The Yojana seeks to improve the skills of rural youth to position them in higher-paying sectors of the economy. About 70% of the country's youth population, or 185 million people between the ages of 18 and 34, live in rural areas. This Yojana invests in projects proposed by its training partners, provides technical support, and offers quality skill training to poor rural youth.

How to Deen Dayal Yojana and DDU GKY Scheme Registration

  • By enrolling with a Gram Panchayat or Gram Sewak, who will refer the applicant to a nearby Training Centre or mobile station staff who will meet with them and provide guidance and counseling.
  • Help find a nearby training facility and make direct contact with them.
  • By finding a trade that the applicant wants to learn as well as the mobile number for the trade's training center.
  • By clicking "Apply Now" and following the "Candidate Registration" section on the Kaushal Panjeekaran Portal.

Documents Required

  • For proof of identity and age, use an Aadhaar card, an Election ID card, or a birth certificate.
  • BPL Card for yourself or your family with names mentioned.
  • Any member of the candidate's household should have an MGNREGA worker certificate with a minimum of 15 days of completed work.
  • The candidate's household's Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana (RSBY) card.

  • If claiming a reservation or age limit relaxation, an SC/ST Certificate issued by a competent authority is required.

Eligibility Criteria of Deen Dayal Yojana

Rural youth between the ages of 15 and 35, from poor families. Although the aspired method for inducting needy candidates is Participatory Identification of Poor .each of the following will ensure eligibility into DDU-GKY funded skill training programmers in the interim.

1. BPL Cards ownership and inclusion

2. Family members of paying MGNREGS staff who have worked for at least 15 days in the last 12 months

3. Members of a registered SHG in the village's family members
